How long is the statute of limitations for:
Being invited to your friend's boss's million-dollar beach house, making up drinking games to "Top Gun," drinking to one "Maverick" too many, getting on a scooter, falling down, tearing your ACL and generally making a huge mess of things?
For future reference, it's 2 years and 4 months.
At first, it was a little weird, returning to the scene of the crime. And then, it was just really, really, really fun. This time I managed to stay injury-free -- but Montine was not so lucky. Thankfully, a few band-aids fixed her up right good. "That house has a thirst for blood," Jess pointed out on Monday.
The beach itself was much kinder, offering us one mild day for walking along the water and arranging broad-jumping competitions. Interestingly, Bryan and I left in the middle of the weekend to attend a wedding -- returning in plenty of time to partake in an impromptu dance party of ridiculous proportions. A friend at work doubted the veracity of said "dance party" with such small numbers. Please! All you really need is:
Dance Party Ingredients
3 friends (can add more as party begins)
1 mix CD
1 case of PBR
Voila! Delicious.
I also finally posted a few photos from Sugar Ray's visit to Yahoo!. A much better set is available via Jess.
Oh and we went to see Bishop Allen again -- with the Canadians! -- but I didn't bring my camera this time.
Finally: Here's what we look like on the radio.
And: Will it ever stop raining in San Francisco?
