How often do you get to offer a houseguest fun with trampolines on her first night in the greater Bay area?

Great thanks to Joe and Vivian.

Those of us with torn ACLs might be inclined to try the trampoline, but then, think better of it.

And please do watch Bryan's silent movie. I have, about 17 times, and it's just not getting old. Kelly suggested we figure out how to turn it into a screensaver and I think that's a damn fine idea.

Kelly is here and that's really exciting! Kelly, you may recall, works for Bruce Springsteen. Like, on his current tour. Like, she just flew in from New Zealand. The life of glamour!

(But not nearly as much fun as a trampoline, of course.)

If you're considering planning a wedding, I have a few suggestions for you.

#1: Give up on perfectionism. Now. No, I mean it. Now.
#2: Stop worrying about what other people think.
#3: Prepare to crack open the piggy bank.

I have some more, but I feel these lessons should be consumed in small doses.

It's days like these when I can almost just barely remember what it feels like to be 16, the windows rolled all the way down, the BEST SONG EVER playing in my tape deck, skipping school, and never once thinking about the future.

I bet this guy never in a million years thought he'd be singing on a stage before hundreds of teenage girls screaming his name and holding signs that read things like:

I'm
AIKEN
for
Clay!

I mean, I'm 31, but I'm a little Aikey too. Aren't you?

I call this one, My Darling Cheese.

Hello cheese.
You and your two meanings.
I adore each of you equally,
Like a mother with siamese twins.
Or just regular twins.

Cheese, the food --
Cheddar
Kraft singles
Montery Jack
Beloved Brie

You fill my heart and stomach with joy.

Cheese, the disparaging descriptor --
American Idol
Crossroads
Pour Some Sugar on Me
Old Navy

They can never tear us apart.

The big cheese
Cheesecake
Say cheese
"Grated cheese?"

Yes please, more cheese.
