Watch Bryan Ride the Zorb! /

The one adventure activity the four of us could not leave New Zealand without first experiencing was Zorbing -- a crazy concept hatched in this thrill-seeking country and discovered by us while watching a recent season of our beloved Amazing Race. Zorbing involves rolling down a zig-zagging green slope while tucked inside a huge plastic beach ball (the Zorb in question) filled with a bucket of (thankfully) warm water. The Zorb ride lasts only about 45 seconds, but as you toss, turn, and bounce around the insides of the sphere, you're not all too disappointed to come to an eventual halt on the flattened end of the grassy course. Well, at least I wasn't.

Here is a mini-movie of Bryan, in wetsuit shorts and top, riding the Zorb.

I've also posted a bunch of photos from that day. I also posted some from the ferry ride (which was awesome) and a set in Abel Tasman Park. Gorgeous.

Heather and Eugene left for Sydney this morning. It was terribly sad to part ways. Now, Bryan and I are packing up to head out of Nelson, New Zealand, ready to tour around the South Island for a few days before hopefully beginning our WOOFing adventures here. I can't wait to meet the llamas!

The Zorb was definitely a Top 5 Moment of the trip thus far, however, the Royal Blue, skin-tight Zorb Suit is not something I want to remember.
